Purchase tickets to win your choice of either a handcrafted 17′ cedar-strip canoe or kayak to help support the renovation of one of Wausau’s historic landmark buildings, the First Universalist Unitarian Church.

Both of these beautiful boats are made with Spanish cedar and western red cedar with black walnut accents. Both are fiber-glassed inside and outside. The canoe has hand-caned seats with white ash frames and a mahogany yoke and has two water-resistant storage compartments at each end. The kayak has two water-resistant storage compartments, an adjustable seat, a backrest, and foot pegs. These boats were lovingly and masterfully handcrafted by Mike Wasilczuk. Each boat took Mike approximately 400 hours to build. These gorgeous boats are on display at the First American Center (the M&I Bank building) at 500 3rd Street, Wausau.
